Description A disorder characterized by a necrotic process occurring in the bone of the mandible. [CTCAE] Necrotic jaws or other maxillofacial skeleton necrosis associated with bisphosphonate use (see BISPHOSPHONATES). Injury, dental procedures, and trauma can trigger the necrotic process. [MeSH]
